Employment Law Guide:

New Fire Safety Regulations - October 2023

Starting from October 1, 2023, significant changes to fire safety regulations have come into effect. The aim - to improve safety in the workplace and reduce the chances of fire-related incidents.

The rule is straightforward: You must comply with these regulations, or you could face substantial fines. It's important to note that, unlike issues dealt with by HR or employment tribunals, health and safety violations are treated as criminal offenses and can result in severe penalties.

Manging Director, Supreme Services

Ian is so helpful and kind and it's been great speaking to you through different scenarios that have cropped up within the company. It's great getting their insight and having you as a sounding board for the steps I already plan on taking.

I also find the webinars, guides, and updates from the Employment Law Advice Bureau very helpful. For example, the most recent email sent to me about an employee using AI without permission; that was quite insightful, and I feel better prepared if that was ever to arise within my company.

Thanks for all your help and support Ian!
